not much progress yesterday .. i started to drill the spot welds out but some are hard to get to.. it was late didnt want to make to much noise.. going to work on it all day saturday..

Hi, just read ur post and saw ur pics. Excellent work. Thanks for this post, has helped a lot. I'm going through the same problem currenly. I've managed to get myself the 2 gears that look alike. I'm missing the one where the rubber fits in and the other which is sort of thick.
Wanted to know, is it possible to only order the gears from anywhere in UK or US.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think the US would be of any help since the US did not get a Transtop del sol.
The UK on the other hand... if anyone knows any EDM models which came with the Transtop, tell me and I'll try to get any part numbers for you.

what suck is in the usa we have site where you can buy oem honda parts.. like hondapartsdeals.com and show pictures and a part number.. if you want to order a part from there i sure they can pretty much ship parts anywhere in the world.. where is the european verison of hondapartsdeals.com? also where is the toyota/nissan/gm what ever car version of hondapartsdeals.com? is honda usa the only company that has thier act together on the internet?

Nice job on the transtop install. Youll love it! I have a jdm sir with the transtop and it is the best thing about the car. Great on those hot days and youll get a lot of looks from the ladies whne you pull up and take your roof off/on with a push of a button and by pulling to levers. Good luck.
