Default Tire Size question

Hi all,
I bought my 2000 EX used with about 45k on it a few years back. The tires had just been replaced.

At 96k now, was planning on getting new tires at 100k, but had a rear-passenger blowout the other day on the interstate. I couldn't afford to change all four at the moment, so I just had the blown out tire replaced. Looking to replace the other three in a couple of weeks, but rain into a question.

Apparently the original owner installed 195-65-14 tires, so when I took it in to have the new tire put on after the blowout that's what they put on, only telling me AFTER that the original reccomended tire size for my car is 185-65-14. 10mm seems like small potatoes to me, but I have no idea if it's something that would negatively effect the car in any way, so my question is - is it ok to put 195-65-14's on a 2000 civic ex, or did i waste money on a replacement tire that's not the correct size only to have to replace all four now to get them to the correct size?

Yes, I'm aware I will not suffer death, does anyone recommend against this though for any actual reason?

exactly what i meant if this car isnt built for the 1320 or the apex with long straights then it doesnt really matter, when i person cares that much about the right size tire its mainly because their wanting to reach a certain speed or time, smaller wheels and tires can get you off the line faster but hurt in the long run, bigger wheels and tires help you in the long run, so no its all on personal preferance if you want a lower profile or not

thats not for a lower profile itd be a wider tire. but all the same it won't hurt.
