Default swpping a d16z6 into a dx ek

ok so i have a 98 civic dx 5 speed 4 door, and im swapping in a high compression d16z6. I know how do the IACV swap, dizzy swap, obd1 conversion, and wire vtec. But im not sure if i have 2 do other stuff like swap wires on the tps, or other anything else. Im not a noob 2 honda's at all. Ive been building street and track hondas since i was a teenager, but ive always had ef's, eg's, da's, and dc's. I just really didn't like ek's till i got this one for a winter beater. Mainly because i don't like the whole obd2 crap, and they just seemed to new to me. But this one is growing on me, so any help would be highly appreciated... thanks

I've never done it but I'm pretty sure that with the OBD-2 => OBD-1 harness is all you are going to need?

someone correct me if I'm wrong please....

sorry haven't been on in a while, busy working all the time... but anyway thanks for the replies. think im gonna build the y7 block n put the stuff i got for the z6 in it and run the z6 head on it cuz when i comes time to get inspected i can just swap the stock ecu in and not throw codes for the knock sensor and crank sensor, but i just wasn't sure if i had do swap any other wires around to make the built z6 work with the obd1 conversion

i put a z6 in my 97 civic ex

1. stock VTEC wiring harness for a d16y8 (96-98 civic ex)
2. obd2a->obd1 ecu harness (ebay for about 30$)
3. p28 ecu
4. d16y8 intake manifold (already had plugs for all the sensors and injectors so no cutting and splicing, just straight bolt up and good for an extra pony or 2)
5. obd1 distributor-to-obd2a wiring jumper harness (i got mine at passwordjdm.com for 40$...the money was worth it for the ease of plug and play without having to dissect the distributor...)

i already had the wiring harness and manifold so that was the easiet route for me to take... hope this helps!

obd1 and 2 utilize the same wiring so to make it easy and save money for next time just re-pin the diz from 1 to 2 the only diff is on 1 there is two plugs and 1 on 2 so the wires go in the same places on both plugs just add the two extra blue and black with yellow if you have both plugs you will be able to see where they go
