I'm sorry you want to be spoon fed, the FAQ's are there for a reason...

Glad you found what you're after though.

There is a very good reason why these coilovers are OUT-OF-STOCK. OP, I've had them on my old '00 Civic EX coupe and they rode perfect.

Go with full coil overs, JHPusa sells Form/Function coil overs free shipping for 630$ do the right thing and get coil overs so u always have the ability to raise or lower as you wish, i have a 97 EK hatch and i installed Form/Function coil overs, rear lca's, camber kit and a ASR sway bar and sub frame brace kit. my car handles great and would strongly recommend the Form/Function.

PROGRESS > F&F.....any day of the week. Just look to see what brand BISI uses in his civic wagon. Hint: The brand doesn't start with "F"s.

After everything is said and done, if done correctly, springs and shocks will cost as much progress coilovers

Customer service is huge for me and i wasnt happy with theirs, yes they make a good product but i researched for weeks before purchasing coil overs, thats all u got to do man research and but what you like, i just recommended F/F bc i personally like their product and my car rides and handles great. so by all means dont listen to me its all about what you like man but whats in your budget and research everything before buying thats all i can say and hopefully you will be happy with your choice.

Haha right on man, agreed!! Buy what you like, take into consideration advice ppl give you but at the end of the day its your money and your car, make an educated decision and buy what you like.

My rec. to you is that, since you live in the LA area, go with lowering springs. You can get the Sportline springs/Pro shock combo from Eibach for about $500. You get about a 1.7' drop and the ride is nice. I don`t know the roads out there but, if there anything like here in Jersey, you have craters and speed bumps that will murder your car if it`s too low. I know coilovers can be adjusted, but in my opinoin, why spend $700 on coils if your only dropping 2 inches...my two cents

No, no, no, for the love of god NO. Megan and Raceland are both Tiwanese junk. If you expect your suspension to last as long as the car, get something decent. On a budget (and if you read the sticky I even linked for you), the best setup you can get is Koni Yellow + Ground Control. Like I already said, F/F T1's aren't horrible, but they wouldn't be my top choice, either.

I think I'm gonna go with coilovers, around my price range of $500. I'll shop around.
Let me explain something to you, and hopefully you understand where I'm coming from. Our chassis' aren't new. There is absolutely nothing innovative, creative, or unusual being done to them. 99% of EVERY question asked on these forums can be answered via reading the stickies, ESPECIALLY when it comes to upgrades and performance modifications. If you read the full thread that I linked for you, you'll see that not only does the OP of that thread break down suspension setups by price, he also breaks them down by target demographic. In the past week alone, I've seen six different "what suspension should I buy" threads, and they all have the exact same answer in them.

We aren't making "*******" remarks. We're all tired of answering the same question over and over again, especially when the answer is stickied, a different color, and right in front of your face before you click the "create thread" button.

They're advertised as 1988. Does that really matter if it's going onto an 00?

Asks for opinions. Then tells people not to give them. Cannot explain that.
Maybe not ask the same tired question if you do not like the answers you get?

Er no. Maybe you should actually browse the site and find the suspension that actually fits YOUR CAR so it doesn't look like you are waiting to have everything just handed to you? That's that research thing we're talking about.

Opinions are like bung holes, everybody has one and nobody wants to admit theirs stinks.

Lamoch, do some reading, do some browsing and you'll find what is right for YOU, I promise you'll be happier that way.

THIS!!!! I was a fool and thought I was going to go the cheaper route by buying drop springs for my lexus. Well I bought struts to and by the time I had everything installed I would have spent less on some good coilovers. I really regret the springs because I want the car a little bit lower. Now I will be spending even more for some coilovers when I should have gone with them from the get go.

For my Civic, I have illuminas and junk2 sleeves and I hate them!!! I will be going with Progress CS-II very soon!!! I also plan on boosting the GSR in my 94 civic hatch and tracking as much as possible.

He is telling you to read the stickies because there is good information in there.
You are lucky he only told you to check the stickies... he could of just flamed you?
Your question has been asked a gazillion times by people just like you.
Nothing changes, just another guy with a civic who wants to be spoon fed, and be told what to buy.
What you want is what everyone has or had.
If you read the stickies you would have answered your first few questions.
Or if you had gone to the suspension forum that would of yielded better results.
My advice.. buy the best you can for the budget you set.
Do your research so you are informed on what is out there.
Ultimately if you let everyone tell you what they think is the best, and you choose poorly you have nobody but yourself to blame for buying something you wont be happy with.
It all falls back on you.
