agreed. I dont even care. Im a small guy, but if I was walking down the street and saw someone breaking into another persons car, I would chase them down and beat them. Its just not right, in so many ways. Its one thing stealing from a business or a store, but to steal someone's pride and joy, something that they put theyre all into. Thats just shitty.

I was upset enough when my car got stolen (I'm one of those people who's world revolves around the car and cars), but my boyfriend just told me something yesterday that seems worse.
His coworker's ~2001 Buick LaSaber, dented up but with only 55,000 on the clock, was recently stolen. He's not into cars or anything, but is still pretty upset. It was his mother's car and she left it to him when she died. They haven't recovered it.

Re: (NOFX)
I've never had my car stolen before, but lately my car has gotten to the point where I really don't want it taken from me. I was thinking I just hook up a quick release to my goddamn ECU and take it everywhere I go when I park my car. That oughtta throw the thieves a curve.
Hey thieves:
<^> (^-^) <^>
Take my car in person. If I die, you can have the keys.

haha, clever...even sig-material-worthy..as far as the ecu goes, that is something people do, but it isnt going to stop them. the theives will either have a spare ecu with them, or they will tow it....its all about layering security, kill switches, auto lock, good 2way paging alarm with backup battery and siren, etc.

if you pull your ecu make sure you put the cover back on.. if a thief goes to steal your car, notices that, he'll likely stop, and come back another night with a ecu.
best advice, trigger a shotgun to first gear.

Haha! Well, that's great, never been put in a sig before, thanks! As for the stacked levels of security, it just sucks that us car enthusiasts have to go through such elaborate measures to protect what is rightfully ours. I wish I could just dual one of those punkasses and beat them down.
EDIT:
Punkasses must be smaller than me....and I get a weapon....You know what, I actually just wanna be able to shoot one of those punkasses.
