I have a Gsr tranny and block...the code that CEL is throwing is 14 which is the IAT. The vtech also doesn't engage too. I think its because of the speed sensor but like i said, I got a new and it still doesn't work...is it possible that I could wire it straight to the ecu? If i could, can I get a diagram of the wiring or just how to wire it? Thanks
ok. i tried wiring the vss to the ecu and now the middle wire (yellow/blue) to power and its not sending any fuel? for it to send fuel, i need to wire it to the battery and then unplug it everytime so my battery doesn't drain out. i'll try a new plug and see how that goes too.
go to a junk yard and cut a few connectors with wires to replace the connector end on the harness along with a few inches of wire. I found mine was corroded badly and that fixed it. Theres no need to run a new wire from the vss to the ecu if you just have a bad end.
Your wiring harness may be bad. No speed sensor means no vtec!
