Wow, ouch is right. Honestly, it's probally totaled.

Core support is bent, fenders are trash, hood is trash, probally both headlights and corners are broken.

Holy Jebus!

I'm thinking it's totalled. You'll need at least a few grand of work done.

the left headlight and fender is fine.. the right headlight is toast.. the right fender has a dent on the front... the frame doesnt look bent at all.. illl probably need a new radiator support and bumper support

if worst comes to worst i can pick up a new shell from someone and swap all the parts over

Without having a body shop look at it there's no way for you know how "fine" that fender is. Could be buckled and you don't even see it. Honestly with the low value of a 92-95 Civic, I'll be surprised if just the parts and paint don't total it, much less all of the actual work.

it is definitly totaled, seen soooo many civics with less damage be totaled

remeber the car is worth fixing if it will only cost 80% of what the car is worth....

You'd be surpised about <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDM EJ1 95 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> the frame doesn't look bent at all</TD></TR></TABLE>. It is REALLY hard to tell, if not impossible if it is bent at all without putting it on a rack. I got rear ended last year, only going about 20 mph (on ice though), the grand total.........was drum roll please......$6500. Almost totalled my car, and would for sure total yours. Your car looks almost as bad as my <U>ex</U>-gf's car (the one that rear ended me), and her damage was $7500. Good luck, but take everything off of it you can b4 they catch you!

P.S. I didn't break up with her because of the accident. She was actually more distraught than I was

From the pics, it looks like core support, bumper, hood, headlights, radiator at the least. Can you actually see if any metal is tweaked on the frame rails off to each side? If you have liability only, then Certifit is your friend to get aftermarket replacement parts for a good price. Just make sure you get a genuine Honda core support if you do a lot of jacking on that area.

BTW, just curious as to your brake setup? Reason why I ask is that my brakes use to lockup quite a bit under panic situations in the wet since I couldn't modulate the brakes as good with my small m/c and bad tires. Having the right mc/booster/prop valve combo along with a good set of tires can do wonders for panic stops on non-abs cars.

100% Total. Do you know what a new radiator support
goes for? And most shops charge about 45$ an hour just in labor.
Paint is a whole other expensive mess.

So the price of just that radiator support, and the ****
value on a civic, I think you should just buy it back and
get a freind that can weld.

haha......I love these on line estimates.

i was in an accident aug. this summer... a month after havin my Eh2, cuz of a damn deer... i swerved, hit a curb...(bad idea) my frame was kinked in the front, but it took the impact right where it was suppose to... The only visual of it on the outside was a 2 inch gap under the drivers side headlight...yet it still cost me $408.10 to get pulled... it was worth the fixing cuz it was a beautiful body with minimal damage and a nice deep blue paint job.. for u my friend...Screw it, get urself a new shell, hell of a lot cheaper. Thats purchasing the shell AND swapping ur stuff, save the money to top ur setup off w/ some boost

Just by looking at that, it's going to be at least $3-$4K in damage maybe more if there is hidden crap, so they'll likely total it.

When I wrecked my 98 civic a couple of years ago, I had almost the same damage as you have there, and it came to $3,800 with parts, paint, labor, etc...

hahah... welll lets see here... my car is a 95 civic EX so im guessing if the damage costs are less than 4k im good... ok my car has ABS it definitely doesnt work though... drilled and slotted rotors on all 4 and better compound pads... my guess is i was goin about 15 when i hit well see what happens.. ill probably end up getting a new shell and swapping all the parts over

had an accident 2 years ago where a car ran through the front end from passenger to driver side, ripping from the radiator forward out, the header heat shield got a small scratch. I got it fixed for $1400 (painted, new fender, new hood, new bumper, jy radiator, jy ac condensor, jy hood hinges, new headlights, new clear corners, and new radiator support bracket thing.). They did a very good job, only place I saw defect was where the hole for the cold air intake pipe goes is bent and you can see that they tried to ding it out with hammers. oh yeah add $100 for the windshield since my airbags deployed and smashed the hell out of it. have yet to get new airbags and get the system reset. never did replace the ac lines, may have it done before next summer, cuz it gets mighty hot down here. if i can locate the pics of the two cars I will post em.

My friend has the same car and color and his was totaled exactly like yours, but I think your is worse though. It's fixable because looks like you'll need to replace the bumper core support (radiator support too) and basic bumper, fender, hood, etc.. That's what I did with my friend's car. Good luck with dealing with the weld if you plan to put another core support. I'd say $2500 ish for the total?
