koni/gc are one of the best setups but your definitely paying for them expect $1000+. F&F and Racelands are good. I like the kyb gr2 shocks with tein s techs as a setup and there fairly cheap. You say you dont care about ride quality now but if you buy some junk skunk2 coils youll feel every bump and change your mind in a hurry.

If you're spending a grand on a Koni/GC setup, you're doing it wrong. If you search, you can find them all day long for $750-$800. Function/Form is garbage. It's too stiff for DD, but too soft for track use. There's a reason Raceland is called DisgraceLand. **** Skunk2 on principle.
Koni yellows with Ground Control springs, all day long for an affordable, track ready suspension. AMR if you want to step it up a notch.

you haven't searched enough. It has been said literally hundreds, if not thousands of times that Skunk2 suspension is crap. It has been proven inferior to better set ups that can be had for spending the same amount or a bit more. Skunk2 is in the same category as raceland, blackworks, etc. It is low quality that people use who cheap out on their rides, their buddy has it, or are fan boys.
Only options worth mentioning -
Progress CS-II - $600 / 1 year warranty
Koni Yellows/Ground Control Coilovers - $800 - lifetime warranty
AMR Engineering ~ $1300 - lifetime warranty
Unless you want an inferior product that will leave you disappointed, don't go with junk2.
