Car is a 93 del sol
was omw to work today and my signal lights blink at least twice as fast as usuall, checked all corners and all the bulbs are fine, they also do it when hazard lights are turned on. Any idea what the cause is?

Checked them out again after work, they seem to be blinking so rapidly that at a glance they appear constantly illuminated . Also i can hear the relay clicking super fast under the dash, could it be a bad relay? I assumed if it was the relay they wouldnt work at all.

Usually when they blink that quick it's to tell you that one of the bulbs is out. Go around the car and make sure all 4 bulbs are working.

All bulbs are working, today when i turn the switch they don't blink, they stay fully lit. also the relay isn't clicking now. Thinkin i need new relay

Possible bad ground. Run a wire from a good body ground to the metal metal base of the bulb that sticks out of the socket. If it blinks at the normal speed you've got a bad ground.

Temporarily exchange one of the other relays for that one. If that one works the original relay is bad. If it still doesn't work it's probably a bad combo switch (the actual switch on the column that you hit with your fingers).
