Default Remote Entry

I tried to program 2 door lock remotes for my 2000 Civic EX with no luck. I even had the dealer try one. What do I need to do? Does my car even come with remote door locks? (it is power locks)

Default Re: Remote Entry (mpociask)

My 00 si did not come with keyless entry, but i worked at the auto auction and i was able to come accross some extra ones. I took the extra one up to a dealer and asked if he could program it into my car. They said no but then this guy from around the corner came up and was like let me see it got in my car did some **** got out and now it works lol. So it might and it might not just ask someone at the dealership they might know.

I tried to program 2 remotes, and had the dealership try to program one. They said "For some reason, it is not working". I asked them how much it would be to get the problem diagnosed and they said $90. I was like "Bye Bye" (=

Anyway, Im thinking that it has to be something with the reciever. Can anyone confirm?
