Funny. I can find Atlantis on this forum.

And the only two things I ever use are this link
https://honda-tech.com/search.php

and Google. However, if your keywords are crap you won't find anything.

i think you just fail at searching... and if all you want is basic maintenance, download a helm's manual or go buy one...

Judging from your two previous post you seems to have a shot transmission. Have it replaced. Pieces of metal and being unable to shift into gears does not indicate a simple fix.

having it replaced is the most obvious thing to do and without giving you my life story i would have not purchased a damn 94 civic if i could just "replace" the tranny. i am an experienced HD diesel tech but small stuff is not my strong point. since i have been driving properly it appears to have quieted down and shift better but im assuming its attributed more metal leaving the gears. i think somebody used the shifter as a handle to get up out of the seat and bent a component used to go into fourth. i can live with bad syncro's cuz im used to shifting without a clutch in big trucks but no fourth is killing me. im wondering how to diagnose an issue with not going into fourth minus bad syncro's. do i have and can i fix a bent shift fork? can i jab the shifter in the opposite direction to get into fourth. **** if i could find a decent schematic of the tranny and how it works i would not be asking these questions but then i will point out the post topic.

Helms manual. Buy one.
And the transmission is not that hard to replace. Rebuilding it will be beyond you.

Also, learn HOW to search.

if it's just 4th that's screwed, just pick up a used transmission, parts for the insides of these things, the prices are off the wall, it's usually always cheaper to find a used unit and either hold onto the broken unit and fix it later, or just whip it

What's your point? If you're lacking knowledge you should be a little more humble when you come into someone's house and start insulting everyone in it. Way to go.

Next time refresh the page before you automatically assume erroneous facts and start posting. I supplied you with the link you couldn't seem to find on your own.

if im not mistaken i was asking you to "prove me wrong" so unitl i find what im looking for i doubt a couple replies from you will do so. since you are such a brainchild maybe you would consider actually making a post that will help me. otherwise i would like it if you dont clutter this thread with useless replies

I have to agree with grumblemarc, your keywords are what matters the most when searching this forum, or any search engine for that matter.

Edit: Its funny how i hardly ever post a question anywhere on here because i search any find everything i am looking for by using the search feature.

I am starting to think the OP doesn't know how to maneuver around a forum either. You should know. You quoted it but obviously did not read a thing I posted IN IT.

Please check post #18 and tell me I didn't give you instructions on how to find a manual.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showpo...8&postcount=18

Your answers so far have been "Get a manual" & "Buy another transmission".
