Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
First off would like to give thanks to all that have helped me in no particular order,
Humble Performance crew: Alex pagan, Falo, Randy Slovak, Neil
Suja 1 Motoring: Jason Su
4 Piston racing: Luke, Josh
Asp headers: Stefan Barbu
Vasile Racing: Daniel Stoicescu
K-Tuned: Mike
CCC Racing
La Gallina Industries: Jan
Prayoonto racing: Norris
Yosolo Motorsports: Eric
It was a cammed k20a street car for 6+ years ran a best time of 12.4 @ 109 with the motor getting ragged on daily. Last year it decided to give up, valve broke and shredded the motor top to bottom
heres a 12.5 @ 109 pass
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFQh7fG_7XY
the next day,
so the car was down..
So I am originally from the Chicagoland area and Jason @ Suja 1 was always my main man go to go. I moved to arkansas and it blew up down here and I was pretty stuck. I met Alex Pagan from humble in the process of building the new setup.
So I had jason build me a new setup. original goal was to build the baddest all motor street car around on e85.
Specs,
Cp X 12.5:1 pistons 87.5
Carrilo lightweight rods
4 piston 156 cnc head
Drag cartel 4 cams
supertech springs, retainers, valves, seals, keepers
Hr 74mm TB
ASP 4-1 megaphone header
Comp Super single
Full race traction bars
heres what I recieved from Suja 1
fun part
finished
Off to humble performance
Port match work done by Alex Pagan
only 10 pulls...

car is back alive finally!
at IFO tulsa
Yosolo and alex working some magic before IFO
best pass of that day 11.6 @ 115.5 on 23 inch slicks, full exhaust, both seats
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUgVkkWmM9k
Yosolo convinced us to travel east a few weeks later to the fall nationals and hang with them at the shop.
No exhaust, 1 seat and east coast track prep and air the car went 11.3 @ 119!!
video of the run,

Later that year we went to WCF in Maryland with Alex's car. After that i got the itch to get more serious
PHASE 2 aka srs bdns
before and after. huge gains up top

big boy slicks
CCC wing

new look

first time out with the new setup
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11ziWH0jOpE
2nd time out( found a few HP on the dyno but the track wasnt hooking like it was)

There is where im at. 2 times out with the new setup. The car is 2370 with me in it. Still has heater, power windows, sway bars, braces, wiper motors, stock battery ect.
Hard to compared my old 11.3 and current 11.3's. My best 60 foot to date was still from jersey with the 23's and 119 mph. But compared to my old tulsa times i shaved a tenth of the 60 and 3 tenths off the et and went from 115.5 to 118.8

Re: Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
last time out we actually brought some 23's to test out but due to some bad luck i only got to run twice. thing that limits me on the 23's is rpm and gearing. i hit the limiter when i did that 119 revving to 9800 rpms lol. not sure if i wanna take it any higher.
