UPDATE: Didn't have much time tonight. Got the clutch master and clutch pedal installed. Got the hood latch semi-installed. There's a curious little screw run through the side keeping the release forever pulled. I'll figure it out tomorrow. While I was at it I went ahead and installed the dipstick and the hood prop. Oh, also got the rear spoiler installed as well.

Evidently a previous owner drilled the screw through the side of the hood latch assembly to keep it forever unlatched. I guess so you'd just have to hit the release lever to open the hood for "race" purposes. Also it looks like the hood release cable is nowhere to be found. I'll have to pick up a new one. I'll most likely need a new brake master cylinder also as I found peeling paint on the booster directly below where the master cylinder sits. Got the brake master, booster, and pedal assembly installed today. That's about it. It was too damn hot and I have a severe lack of shade.

A lot of brake boosters will have paint peeling and rust. Not so sure how hard it will be to find a good one. I'm planning on painting mine soon. I have the hood latch, cable, and release lever I can sell to you for dirt cheap

I have the latch, and ordered a new cable for $22. Thanks though. I can get stuff relatively cheap at work. Like the new master cylinder was about $20. Also got a exhaust manifold gasket and a front motor mount because the one on it was cracking. There was some weird **** done to this car. Such as the crappy Reactive 4-2-1 header. The header is SUPPOSED to be two pieces. This one was welded together where it's supposed to split. And one of the tubes that bend under the car is mashed somewhat. I'll upload pics when I get to attempting to install it in one piece.

I was wondering about a fuel filter. Shouldn't there be one mounted to the fire wall? Should I get an Integra filter?

Also there are man made holes through the fire wall that look as though someone took a hole saw to the car. Then on the interior of the car right behind the firewall holes there are holes that look as if there were existing holes and someone raped them with a pipe to make them larger. They kinda look like maybe they were to install a cage? But who puts a cage through the firewall? And they are a little far from the A pillar to be for a cage. I'll take pics tomorrow. I'd like a cage to be as invisible as possible. I like the whole sleeper thing, to be as low key as possible.

Well I can't beat that deal by much lol. Idk what shipping would add up to. I just want to get rid of stuff without wasting it all. The header is probably ok but it's cheap to replace at least

You want to get me a head gasket, arp studs, and an oil pump lol? Seriously, I'm doing a little rebuild so I wouldn't mind saving money on basic stuff like this if I can. Doesn't hurt to ask so I'm just giving it a try lol. No expectations

I'm almost sure the fuel filters are the same.

No idea about the dash but if the body was being reinforced with welds then that wouldn't surprise me lol

What year, make, and model do you need the stuff for? Shoot me a list and I'll do my best to remember when I'm at work on Sunday. I work at Mercedes Monday through Friday and O'Reilly's Saturday and Sunday. This week I'm at Mercedes Tuesday through Saturday and O'Reilly's on Sunday. Also the zip code you need it shipped to.

You want the gaskets separate or the whole head set? Gaskets will be Fel-Pro.

Small update. Finally had some time to throw some parts at the hatch.

Threw the shitty mangled header on it:

Bought a new radiator for it and installed it:

Found the fuel filter mounting bracket and put it in place:

Put the proportioning valve in and installed the lined from the master cylinder:

Plan on working on it all day tomorrow so I hope I get a shitload done. Hope to have a decent update tomorrow.
PS: sorry for the sideways pics.

Compared the fuel filters at work today. Looked at the stock Civic fuel filter vs. the Integra filter. The Civic filter has the inlet and outlet on the same end. The Integra filter has the inlet and outlet at opposite ends so the stock one looks like it will fit. Great thing about this is even though I didn't take it apart, my brother did a good job of keeping track of things. Under the green glove in the pic is the fuel filter bolt and the copper washers zip tied to the end of the fuel line so I don't have to search for them. Hopefully I can start putting in the engine harness tomorrow. I'll have to install the hood release cable tomorrow as well. I had to order a new one and it finally came in.

Since you haven't installed the hood release cable yet, I would suggest you reroute it through the engine bay instead of along the fender. It is a theft deterrent and will also save you the hassle of removing your fender again.

Good write up here.

Yeah I've been planning on rerouting it. Some things I was planning on getting done today kind of hit a hitch. Can't get the nut off the motor mount through bolt that's attached to the AC bracket. I'll have to remove it at work tomorrow. I'm missing the crank pulley key way. And the AC mounting bracket is missing a bolt that I drove all over today trying to find it but no one has it. I'll have to get it from Acura tomorrow while I'm around the corner at work.

Found the bolt for the bracket. Still need to get the nut off the through bolt. Installed the turn signal/head light/wiper switch. Installed the front brake lines. Installed the fuel filter and got the charcoal canister all hooked up. Wasn't able to start on the harness today. I want to get a new flywheel and clutch installed before I start on the harness so I can get the starter throwed in. Gonna put on the crank pulley tomorrow also.

Installed the hood cable, front mount, and crank pulley with the little light I had after work.
