Default power steering help

my power steering fluid is leaking in the rack boots. there is no leak in the hose going to the boots, but its is coming out the side closest to the wheels. can i just get the rack re-built or do i need to replace the whole rack? thanks

You will definitely need to replace the rack. It is a little more time consuming but if you are up to the challenge it is possible to rebuild the rack. All the parts are available , but if a shop does it it will cost more then just slapping a new one in. witch would be cheaper.
