Default passenger window switch bad?

so my pass. window has been broke for the longest time and i know they had a recall on the motors cause they were bad so i assumed that was the culprit. i replaced the motor assembly on to find that was not the problem. it does not worl from the driver side nor the pass side switch's. my window is slightly open cause i couldn't put the ***. in and the window up the way it was. i have a haynes manual and am trying to use a cordless dril battery to find the wires that make it go up. checked all the fuses so now i'm left w/ the switch must be bad.
IS THERE A WAY I CAN USE A DRILL BATTERY TO SHUT THE WINDOW AND IS THERE A WAY TO FIND IF THE SWITCH IS BAD. i don't know how to read the haynes eletrical scematics. please help

You need to consider both the passenger and driver switches for the bad window as a fault in either could render both inoperable. The service manual (see link below) describes a series of continuity tests (need multimeter) that will tell you which if any switch is bad.

Theres a plug that goes from the motor to the harness in the door. Just unplug that and hit it with two wires on a battery. One way makes it go up, the other makes it go down.

Take the switch out and clean the metal contacks on the switch. I know it sounds funny, but I can only roll my passenger side up from the passengerside. I have to clean the metal parts like once a month. When u take the switch out and take it apart there is a small c clip in a little rod that goes through the switch and after you take the rod out the button pops off and there are the metal connectors they are in the shape of a V they are a bitch. I am looking to get a new switch soon from honda it is killin me.
