Actually don't throw it away. You could probably sell it for like $60 locally.

But do sell it.

Those rear lower arms are junk. OEM arms with new OEM bushings will work better and outlast anything else. The other stuff is probably junk but if you got it for nothing and you need a camber kit you may want to try it.

Like I said the parts came out of the trunk of the integra so I didn't order them. I am all about bang for buck but at no cost to durability or function. And I do agree it's all very cheap from what I can tell.

I think my approach is going to use as much OEM parts as possible. I may ditch that cheap weapon R looking intake and try to source a factory air box and filter. I will probably keep the header and gutless cat that's on the car now and use the cat back exhaust off of the delsol.

For the muffler I need to find somthing that does not look like a trash can that is decent flowing but mellow. This is one part I will probably buy new and weld in place of the 4 inch muffler that's on it now.

Once again every one it's good to be back, and thank you for all of the advice and guidance.

About to order the P75 OBD-1 ECU from Xenocron. They are only a few hours away from me so I expect the ECU will arrive by the end of the week. I am spending the extra $15 for one of there socketed/chipped ECUs loaded with a "tweeked" base tune that I am told is very close to stock. I don't expect any gains from the ECU but it will leave the door open for future upgrades it I decide to bump compression or add a small cam down the road.

Had a little time to start pulling things and did a fast compression check with the motor being cold around 40F. Results seem to be good. 185-182-192-188. Not sure where the compression should be exactly but for a 9.2 to 1 CR engine this seems about right.

The car has aftermarket cam seal covers on it so I pulled the valve cover to take a look. Surprisingly the cams look very clean and the head seems to be in good shape. I will do a valve check just to make sure it doesn't need adjustment but looking good so far.

Here is a picture of the cam. The numbers read 75 and are market I for intake and E for exhaust so I am assuming they are stock cams but they don't look like they have 145,000 miles on them.

Had to take a little brake but got the motor out of the integra and bolted into the EG. I was lucky since this car had a way in it before the longer throttle cable was already there. We hooked up the shift linkage and got both the side and rear motor mounts installed. While the integra was up we pulled the hole exhaust off and I hope I can re use at least most ofit on the EG.

Exhaust should bolt right in.

The header has some dents and dings in it but it should work for now. The cat has been deleted and in its place is a resonator, after that there is a second longer resonator, and finally a large strait muffler with like a 4 inch tip. From what I can tell the exhaust pipe off the integra is 3 inch.

I may try to find a cheap chambered muffler even if I have to neck down the exhaust to 2 1/2 right before the muffler since I don't care for loud.

Also a strange side note. The integra has no catalytic converter but never kicked any check engine lights when I test drove it or does it look to have 02 sims?

I didn't say "you purchased them", I said "make a mental note of that when you order parts". That means buy something that actually functions for your moneys worth.

I find it odd that the cam lobes have pits in them, that shouldn't occur unless the oil filter hasn't been changed for some time and dirt and debri was just cycling through the engine.

It's in! Well at least physically mounted in the engine bay. I broke the stupid TPS sensor so I will need to source a new one but other then that it was straight forward with no issues. The integra had new engine mounts on the sides and new axles so that's a plus.

Using the stock civic proportioning valve?

The valve should be changed to a '90 - '97 Integra proportioning valve for correct brake bias.

I really have a good friend to thank for most of this. I was needing a Daily driver because the cost of gas in my truck was killing me. Not only did he give me the shell but he helped me source the parts car. In addition he has busted his tail with me to help get this swap done and has put in a huge amount of effort into this. I am not a Honda guy and will never pretend like I know every thing about them so his experience has also been invaluable.

On a positive note some progress was made today. A lot of the wiring was completed and many small ends got finished up. Hoping tomorrow we can start getting the brake components and interior parts swapped over and maybe the exhaust.

Hoping to get back down to the car at some point today and grab some fresh pictures. It looks like the car had a swap in it prior since the harness at the ECU looks like it's been hardwired for Vtec.

I still need to order the darn OBD-1 ECU and track down a TPS sensor but she should be ready to start here in a few days.

D-series TPS sensors are also the same. The screws have breakaway heads so you'll have to cut/grind a slot in them to remove them, or just break the old TPS sensor around them since it's junk anyway and take them out with vice grips. I tend to remove the throttle body now when doing swaps since there's about a 70% chance to breaking the TPS if you leave it on there.

The first picture was dark and it was Just sitting in there. I should have taken a updated picture when I left today but it was dark. Why does it matter?

On the good news front the radiator is in, fuel system hooked up, and most of the vacuum lines are done. I started on the plumbing for the clutch but lost light before I could finish.

I also found a set of springs and shocks on a friends delsol he is parting out. They seem to be in good shape but I have no idea what brand the springs are. He also has a cheap front strut bar I might offer him $50 for all of it.
