Re: (Project.Jdm)
the diagrams on page 1 are right but not for my setup. i have a switch that has two rows and 8 wires in the back. the diagrams dont reflect that

i'm replacing the stock EK9 glass with heated glass from a EK3/4 and run the wire to the rear window defroster switch.
in europe we have the same mirrors as in japan only not the power folding option, so the glass is interchangable.
this is where i run my wires through: you see the rubber "hose" in the middle:

Re: (bobobob)
you wont be able to cuz i have opened it up before when i tried the wiring myself. there is no place room. you pretty much have to wire it up to the big connector that is inside the door end.

Re: (YoungMoneySi)
i would ask you to get me some heated mirrors but i know in Euro you guys drive RHD so the mirrors would still look funky looking on a LHD. i have that situationright now and it is a bitch driving and looking at the mirrors on my driver side(RHD) LoL

i drive the same side as you do, and it's not the mirrors that are different it's the base that connects the mirror to the car thats different
i've kept the mirror glasses side to side and they are the same, the base has a different angel which messes up the view

Re: Need Wiring Diagram for Ek9 Power Folding mirrors
I installed the CTR switch in my car (EJ8) and it controls my existing mirrors(USDM). My question is: Is the relay the only thing it has to be wired and the retracting wires? I assume this cuz no one has mentioned if the CTR switch controls the usdm mirrors.
Thanks in advance... I dont want to go blind folded into this project lol
