Default Need help with a radio code

Model #: 39100802A00
Ref#: C0JH58102
Serial #: M980364046

I called 4 Honda Dealerships and want me to pay $75 bucks to get the code. I got these number from the back of the radio.

they should give it to you for free. i've heard of many cases where the code is given to the owner for free.

i would keep calling dealerships across the state/country until someone gives it to you

Theres a sticker on the side of your glove box with 2 serial numbers.
The 5 digit one should be your Radio code.

it should be free. I do not know why they are charging you. just keep calling.

I highly doubt it. they do not post your radio code on the car. it is ONLY on the manual when you buy the car brand new. This is to prevent people that steal cars/radios from using it

$75? really? i got it mine for free. i think that guy was just being a jerk. try a different honda dealer. when i went in, i didnt have a stereo in my dash...brought the radio in and the dude came out to look at my dash. i guess to see if i stole the radio and have my own in my car. he ran the serial numbers and gave me the code. no charge. but that was years ago. they could have changed their policies.

Dude just call another dealership, I had to call a few to get the code free of charge.

I called honda north america. A woman gave it to me over the phone in about ten minutes for free

those numbers dont match with the radio code. if you look at all the numbers, the radio code is the only that has that number.
that its just for the radio serial number so you can contact a dealer.

and i still have my stock radio on my civic. its been over a year since i got my car.
