my speedometer won't work and........
well, noobie here........i don't know much about honda but my speedometer don't work.............everything else works on the cluster except for my speed.......wat could be wrong with it?
my belt tensioner won't tight.........do i need to get that replace?

lol mine didnt work and then it did and then it didnt .. and then it did ... i know i love in cali but there was a period of time it wouldnt work it was usually cold out and in the morning ...
it works fine now ..
o yeah and when you got the car did i work ?

your problem sir is the chip board that is inside your speedo cluster. you can remove the cluster and replace the chip circuit board or you can have someone familar with soldering and resolder all the bits back together. i can't explain it well on that part. sorry. but i'm pretty sure its your circuit bored.
could be the problem to whoever created this thread. normally when vss goes out rpm shouldn't work either. or so i think. not sure. but a lot of times it turns out to be the circuit board that people never knew about. good luck.

rpm is read by the dizzy

i don't think it's my circuit board.......i tried a jdm si cluster, dx cluster, and si cluster, and two other honda cluster and it didn't work......so i don't think it is my circuit...........
