What kind of duckbill came with it, if any?

On a side note, I'm really digging the black lips and sideskirts.

That's exactly what I'd jave done too. I love it when all of the bottom of a car is the same color. That's one thing the EK used to bug me about - black front and sideskirts with a painted lower section on the rear bumper.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm digging it too.. Almost better than everything painted; certainly more unique also.

To me, yeah, it's pointless if you're just gonna drive from point a to point b.

But this is coming from someone who's entirely done with spending money on cars to make them fast.

It's not worth it if you don't actually use the car. I'm not saying that he doesn't use it, I really don't know. But for the average person who doesn't auto-x or track their car, it seems to me that it is a mod that you can place in the same category as a shogun front bumper.</TD></TR></TABLE>

While this statement hold true...There are two sides to the argument here.

Most people have to learn the hard way about spending every last penny they have from their paycheck on carbon fiber trunks, 5 lug conversions, wings, etc. In all honesty, unless you are racing your car, slapping race parts on your car is basically pointless unless you just are really into that type of thing, and have nothing better to do with your money.

I find 80% of the members here fix up their cars just to say they can, to show off, and be part of the crowd. There is a small percentile that mod their vehicles for competition use, which is warranted in all aspects.

Everyone on this board will reach the point where they say..."What the **** am I doing all of this for?" And, I'm willing to bet in a few months the owner of this hatch is going to say..."Why did I just take off my perfectly good trunk, to replace it with a copy made from composites and epoxy?"

In my eyes, it's fine. Just as long as you realize that people are giving you a hard time because you are throwing race bred parts on your daily driver. Some people just find it silly, don't take it so personally.
