Default my front rotors are loose????

i recently got a different car, its just the shell. and all the brakes were switched before i got it. and now both front rotors are loose? they are tightened on and the calipers are tightened. i tried bleeding the brakes, but it seems like the calipers arent working. should the rotors be loose even if the calipers are froze up? do the calipers and brake pads keep the rotors from moving? and does the fact that there is no axle make the rotors not stay in place?

no the caliper does no hold down the rotor... your wheels do, so when you install new rotors they are loose sometimes but once you slap that wheel on and tighten thats it everything will work fine.. just make sure the 2 caliper bolts are tight (14mm) and the 2 caliper braket bolts are also tight (17mm) when they did the brakes they pushed the piston in the caliper back meaning the pad is off the rotor so when your all done and you hit the brakes it will return to its position and will brake on the rotor

Get new calipers. The piston should push out once you pump the breaks and push the brake pad to the rotor and making it all tight .

could it also be loose cause there are no axles?

there are 2 screws that hold in the rotor onto the hub not caliper

you dont need those 2 screws. The lug nuts and wheels will hold the rotor on without the need of the 2 screws.

just looked at it again and everything is tight. the rotor and caliper move even when the wheel is on? the center thing that the axle slides into moves too, thats bad isnt it? i forgot what bearing or whatever it is is called.

Sounds like your wheel bearing is shot.

the rotor, the center part where that the axle slides into and the caliper part that moves up so you can get to the pads moves.
