My exhaust resonator leaks water!?!?!
so today i was adjust the height of my suspension and when i finished i reverse out of the garage and noticed that there was a quarter sized puddle of water and was like wtf was this from...so i started my car out infront of the house and looked up and saw that it was coming from my exhaust resonator....is there a hole in my exhaust and is it a problem and will it affect the performance or sound of my exhaust? btw its a magnaflow if it matters? thanks h-t!!

Re: My exhaust resonator leaks water!?!?!
Performance will probably be fine... sound might be slightly raspier than normal.
Water is a byproduct of the combustion of gasoline, btw. That's why there was a puddle of water. When the engine is warmed up, all of that water will turn into water vapor... but when the engine is still cool it may stay in liquid form.

Yea, just patch it with a small piece of metal. You could probably ignore it if you want. I'm a little perfectionistic so I personally would get it fixed.
