Here are the bolts I'll be using.
The oil pan and my downpipe kit
A GSR oil pickup to go with the girdle, and the old ls on to show the difference.
Something to help stop the car
And something to help put the power down. Yes, I only got two of them.

Man wished I knew how to tuck my wiring harness and clean my engine bay up like this. its crazy sexy!!! but my ek is my daily so no such plans anytime soon. very nice build man everything looks awesome dont worry about the haters some people dont know how to appreciate creativity and customization even if its not their personal taste. Keep it up.

Question about painting the interior, that SEM 38353 Plastic/Leather Prep you are cleaning the items to be painted and then spraying that directly on them? Are you doing any light surface sanding first, or just directly putting that on there? Do you have to do any type of wet sand before the top coat or is that going directly over the prep? I did my center console, around the shifter and arm rest with Rustoleum plastic primer and black. But I sanded/wet sanded between coats, then added a clear top coat later. I was thinking about doing my doors/dash, back panels, back dash and the rest of the trim pieces. It seems like the SEM is actually designed for automotive use and would be easier than the way i'm doing it. Does it have any flexability, don't want the pieces to warp on me.

Wheels look good dude.
And I use to work at a tire shop so I could try out tires and put them back with out anyone noticing as I'd clean them and wouldn't beat the hell out of them, but I never found a better tire than those!

AEM slotted disks are no better than Autozone disks... Should have invested that money elsewhere... For all the haters: prove me wrong that slotted disks make a noticable difference...

They are not only slotted, but also larger in diameter. So, in all actuality, they extra surface space makes a larger area to absorb and radiate heat, and more disc to contact the pad. Making them perform better. But they also look much nicer. Bottom line is: if every modification you made to your car were only purposeful mods, you really wouldn't have a "tuner" car. You would have a race car.

Ok guys. I have a lot of progress to update you on.
Got rid of the blower motor, and the ac unit behind the dash. No more lines from the firewall to the motor this way. The car is now a weekend worrior, so I won't be needing those two units any longer. Got a Wilwood MC for the booster delete. Also got the brakeline tuck going too. I am now going back to the EBP for the bay. Ya, I have some catching up to do for sure! Stay tuned for updates!

What has the temp been in Idaho Falls ALL LAST WEEK? Who the F*** needs a heater when it's 80 degrees outside? A/C would be nice, but not nice enough to offset the want for cleanliness. The car wont be leaving the garage during the winter. So, I'll be fine. So you fail your face off Josh!

Here are some of the updates that were promised:
Got my head back from Endyn Energy Dynamics a little bit ago. It also got some new valves and seats. reconditioned the quenches, and cnc'd the runners to ensure proper cemetry. Haven't taken it out of the wrap yet, so the pics do no justice.
Then, thanks to a good bud out here, got a sweet deal on a B18c sleeved by GE
Refinished some rims. Should have taken some before pics, but they were beat up! They are Shu-4's. I got rid of the fake rivets with the trusty buddies tig, and went white. They are dirty from the polishing.
Going a little bit further with the bay. No more heater, filter, and prop valve:
Booster delete kit from Hard Core Bays,:
Willwood MC:
Brake line kit: usable with hardline:
A custom catch can with -10 fittings and about 12 ft. of hose:
Aeromotive fuel filters and enough line to make it to the sump on the tank
(YET TO BE PLACED)
Welded a bung on the radiator for the return from the turbo
And some on the VC:
This should help with the traction:
BDL 72mm port matched to the Victor X:
And some push locks for the vacuum:
One of the motor all put together, waiting for the paint in the bay:

I'll get you some hand warmers. I'll get a lot of them. You can put them right next to your vagina, if it gets cold too. LOL!

Re: My EK Rescue Project. Shave, Tuck, Boost, In Progress(No 56k)
So I have the appointment for the paint on the bay tomorrow, and I will be having some other pieces painted in the same batch of paint. Just to ensure they are the exact same color. I also will be having the under-side of the hood at the same time as well. I have to say, that was the least funnest part of getting this thing ready for paint. Hell on the fingertips! HELL!
The final blocking of the last minute holes filled in the bay:
Here is the under-side of the hood:
I did my best to get the adhesive between the skin and frame flushed with the edge of the frame. I think it will look better this way:
The valve cover will get a coat of paint to match the bay.
Here it is during and after stripper:
Taped and ready for primer:
