Default My EG build in process.

Hey everyone my name is donnie and im from spokane wa. about a month ago i picked up a 92 vx hatch for 2300. since ive had it ive lowered it put rims on it, installed an oem strut bar, reuphulstered my door panels in black suede, ambered out my gauge cluster and clock. here soon i will be buying an eg6 front clip. just for the motor and sheet metal so i will have a rhd clip for sale. im gonna go with an all motor b20v i know it may seem old but ive always wanted on and until a kswap comes down in price im gonna stay with a b. well heres some pics let me know what you think.

The day i got her

The Front end lines up perfect, never been in a collision

Drivers Side

Passenger Side

Back

Poor *** motor

My DIY Amber Clock

Custom Gauge Cluster i think the yellow needles look good

Had to take the panels in pieces to put the suede on them

Fabric has been glued since 92 lol it was a pain

Finished Product after two hours per door

The day i got my strut bar

The day i lowered her. needs to be lowered more in the rear i think

A lil dirty but the rims look good

Tires are beasty

Well thats all i got for now but will be posting more pics as the process continues. Thanks for reading. cheers

very clean car to start with, besides the fact that kswaps are expensive they are also over rated, i guess now its all about whos got the biggest engine to me the b series motors are the best... do you plan on keeping the same paint color and are you boosting your b20 or doing allmotor ??

TO each his own, but a rhd conversion on a clean chassis like that is pointless to say the least. RHD is pointless in and of itself, but to chop up an unmolested chassis...

Its pretty amazing what a set of mild springs & wheels can do to those cars though.

there is a place called foregine engines over here. and a whole eg6 front clip is $2545.00 sheet metal and all, im just using the b16 swap and sheet metal. and selling the rhd conversion.

and as for the b20/v im using the b16 trans and head. i already have a b20 block

b20vtec with boost would be sick, a GSR tranny on the b20vtec
would be even sicker.. just not a big fan of the b16's

yeah not alot of people are. i mean its the first dohc vtec motor so its tight but being a 1.6 liter makes them kinda gay. lol but throw some itr valve train in that head with a b20 block and oversized itr pistons i mean thats alot of power for a 2000 pound car. and then add boost it would be insane
