im starting to assemble everything, will prolly be about 3-4 weeks before its any where close to running, between school and work i just dont have a ton of time to work on it.

with the h2b does the mid shaft for the axles bolt on to the h motor or do you have to buy a special one for the swap also the linkage is it the same as b-series linkage

check your dampening settings on the coil overs, also check the height on the coils,
did you set the height with them off or on the car? what did you use to messure them?

i saw that you shaved your crank pully but how do you plan to take it off if you ever have too? I have a hell of a time takeing mine off even with the tool sometimes

the motor is a d15b, trust me, its not a y7 the car didnt come with a motor and thats what i put in it. uhh not much on progress, im in the middle of installing my ls 5th gear into my tranny, and my camp1320 header showed up yesterday. i havent been workin on it as much cause, i did a power window, mirrors and locks conversion on my car. but i hvae sunday off so i plan on finishing up the trans and starting to install the h2b kit ill post some pics.

You can barely see it in the backround but you can see the vtec solenoid on that motor which y7's don't have.Build looks good.

i dont know about painting? not the best idea. should of just sandblasted the block and did a coating of aluminum treatment. thats gonnna peel more then a banana when you get that stuff warmed up for the first time. cheaper to blast then to waste on paint.

i dont really even care if it peals, i know it wont cause i tons of people that have used it, but like i said i dont care if it does, even with pealing paint it will look better then it did when i first got the block.

here is a pic of the trans with the new 5th gear installed,



block work is coming tomarrow, my camp 1320 header also showed up last week and man is it shiny lol.

He should know which engine he has....it is his car. I also see a vtec solenoid on the back of the engine. d16y7 is not vtec.
