My 1992 Hatch build!!
Ok so i have been into hondas for a while now(mostly Eg Hatches or Coupes) so i decided to selly my very first car...(a 1984 z28 camaro running on hopes and dreams lol) and buy my first honda. It so happened to be a hatch, i immediatley fell in love with it. I bought it from a guy for 3,000, it came with a full gsr and lowered on 4 skunk-2 coilovers, or so i thought... after a couple days of fixing stuff here and there i noticed the engine mount on the right side was not connected too the block and all the bolts were missing. so i removed the mount and saw that where the bolts were supposed to go had been drilled out for a quick fix to sell to some kid real fast(Me) well not only would the mount not mount back up because of the shitty job done, the block was done because he cracked it beyond beleif when he tryed to fix it. Also there is only 3 skunk2 coilovers and 1 lowering spring..the car sits level just rides kind of weird lol. so i dropped 1100 on the new type-r block and got my friend Bobby to install it for me with the gsr head. This is where im at now from here on im going to post all pictures and facts on what i do to the car. im going for a full restoration. Oh and im posting pics of everything i buy for the car and i mean everything so be ready for alot of pictures
any help would be appreciated, just try and keep negative comments to a minimum .
here we go.

Re: My 1992 Hatch build!!
yeah, at least the quarters aren't like too messed up.. shouldn't be too hard to fix the side that I can see.. but the swap is clean, i'm going to take my b16 out of mine and put a gsr in my car... i already have a gsr tranny backing up my b16 so the c1 i'm trying to get should run great.. i'm hoping to have it done before I have to leave for 3-4 months for bootcamp...

Re: My 1992 Hatch build!!
yeah, I wanna take my b16 head and put it on that gsr bottom end that and put gsr head internals over in the b16 head.. that way i'd have the dual valve springs and more aggressive cams.. the type r head is just a b16 head with what i've said but the cams are more aggressive than the gsr cams.. the b16 head is a better flowing head that's the reasoning for putting it on the type r's..
