Interesting... we didn't get a 2001 EJ6 in the US... 01 was the first year of the new body design. Your car is hot.
But it looks more or less like a d16y8 engine. What's the engine code? It's not a d17 variant, is it? I'm just wondering what direction Honda took on the EUDM model transition.

It definitely looks like a Y8 to me. The D17 looks pretty different and isn't as good IMO.

it´s an D16z6 engin whit 125HP and Vtec..its the same as a 16y8 but older

SOOOOOOO habe jetzt mal die Bilder von der Kamera gezogen..war ja auf Montage arbeiten (bei kevin in der umgabung lol) da konnte ich keine bilder hochladen :D
so also wie gesagt so sah der sicherrungskasten vorher aus an dem platz an den domen..das war mir schon immer ein dorn im auge
so sah es dann danach aus.. die Schaubenlöcher muß ich mal noch bearbeiten lassen vom lackierer das die besser aussehen..
dann habe ich noch die Batterie in den kofferraum gepackt und das kabel nach hinten verlegt..
so dann front alles abgebaut und schwarz lakiert da mich das weiß gestört hatte das überall durchgeblitzt hatte und den LLK angepasst dafür mußte der alte erstmal ab
hehe und dann hat kevin meine kamera genommen um bilder zu machen :lol: muß sagen stellte sich nichtmal so... an :D
da hatte ich die alten Halter weggeflext weil kevin da was neues in serie gebaut hat was auch viel einfacher anzubauen ist
Hier noch eins fürs album weil ich´s nicht lassen kann die bilder zu bearbeiten

so hier mal die neuen Carbon parts... sind gestern angekommen. Fehlen nurnoch die beiden Lüftungsteile dann ist er innen fertig mit den carbon sachen...aber außen kommt noch ein bißchen was :lol:

Mittelarmlehne
und halt noch das Radioteil mit Zusatzinstrumenten da die unten schlecht ablesbar waren

so jetzt mal der aktuelle zustand ..bzw im motorraum hatte ich noch eine kleine änderung auf die Wunschliste gesetzt die wohl schon abgeändert wurde
die originalteile gegen die Carbon teile ausgetauscht..
und die Batterie angeschlossen und befestigt im Kofferraum.Den kofferraum werde ich mir mal im winter vornehmen da schleife ich die ganze gfk scheiße runter und lacke ihn vielleicht sogar schön weiß.
dann wieder alles zusammen gebaut (ich glaube das ist das erste brauchbare bild von meinem ausbau hinten :lol: )
und hier schnell welche vom motorraum aber da sind noch kleine änderungen ..heute abend will kevin mir noch aktuelle schicken

I drove it today and still have to say to the previous setup again ne significant growth ... it should now have power to 350ps .. this will again take place beeen at a test facility 8) and the 400nm I think this is for NEN 1.6 ser pretty good book now at 1.4 bar
Well now I'll have a cut in the next few weeks where I have a video documenting the building a bit and then it was the first ...

I always love to see updates on this car. You guys do it right im Deutchland.
How much cutting did you have to do on the core support to fit that sehr gross intercooler? It looks like the whole bumper is gone. Are you worried about getting into an accident with it?
Any dyno sheets? What kind of power is that thing putting down?
Are those sub enclosures custom, or did you buy them somewhere? I'd love something like that to regain some of my trunk space from my 2x12s.

I try to translate for that guy.
In Germnay these cars do not have a core support. So there is no need to remove or cut it.
He said that he is waiting to get an appointment for technicel inspection to make the car street legal again. Every technical change needs to be checked by an independent institution like TüV, Dekra or so on.
If he passes this inspection he can come to get is car back.
Car made 352hp and 390NM which which is good for a street D16 car.
Engine is build but the head is completely stock. With an other cam there would be more power possible but car was build to get the best bang for the buck so we decided against other cam, springs and retainers.
The entire car is build very nice and with a lot of attention to detail.
So we also had to build the turbosetup as nice looking as possible - it was customers wish.
Hope the guy will be happy with what came out ...
