I don't know about the coupe, but I learned first hand this weekend how easy it is to steal a hatch. My friend had my door open and had my ignition started with no key in about 30 seconds...They are way easy to steal.

To Poster: Like said before, any honda will be stolen eventually. It all depends on where you live!

Ok, let's all stop freaking out about the friend breaking into my car...All I was saying that for was to respond to him asking if they are easy to break into. My friend is not a thief...he just knows a lot about Hondas...He wouldn't actually steal anything.

Re: more likely to get stolen??? (92HatchB16)
My 92' Si got broken into a week after F&F came out. Completly stock looking.
What year was that?
Atleast I caught them. There were 6 little mexicans in my hatch with a 9 mm pointed at them.
What makes the Hondas so easy to break into?

figures 9 beans in a hatch... having a party huh did the fireworks go off?? good thing you caught them man... yes i know a lot about hondas too used to work at the dealership sad to say yes it is very easy to get any honda or acura from 92-00 started in very little time it sucks... thats why its hard for me to own one because of the fact i know how easy it is.. but you know add some damn switches all over the car

depends on your location and the thief. if its one of those "Honda" car thieves, either or will do for them probably.

Re: more likely to get stolen??? (orestar)
They don't get stolen as much as they used to it seems. 5 years ago I wouldn't drive my civic anywhere that I had to leave it unattended. To this day I have never know anyone personaly with a type r intergra that didn't get stolen.

Re: (siregcivic)
How are you not a racist?? You just went off about Mexicans again. Not all people who break into cars are Mexican. No one wants to see those comments on a public forum...it's just rude...

Re: (92HatchB16)
you must not have very many mexicans in AZ. most of the thefts i hear about around here are by asians or mexicans. predominantly the latter. im no racist. i kno some cool latinos, but from firsthand and third person experience that is the trend.
i agree on the convertible civics.. so many of those stolen and stripped that i dont even see them around
this thread is retarded anyways.. wheres the tech?
