ok hittnthebz is right about the coolant / water .. it should all ways be half water and half coolant... just in case you dont get the 50/50 thing they put up before ... if you've replaced the sensor and it keeps doing the same thing its going to be your water pump if dont have a short in your system but i aggree with syndicate ...take it to a shop .... especially before doing the water pump change yourself ... it will be cheaper 4 you ... that just IMHO

It sounds like you are being a smartass so I will say that I repeated what was already said only because he said that he puts water in the radiator and coolant in the reservoir. With everyone saying 50/50 he may have thought that it mixes along the system so I wanted to explain that it all is mixed into the radiator. Certain types of engines mix fluids naturally (i.e. 2-stroke engines) so I just wanted to clarify.

Have you tried buying a new radiator cap? The cap should be able to support 15 lbs. of pressure.
The pressure on the system is also a factor on keeping the temperature down...if you have a bad cap it can cause slight overheating...

Re: (Dirty Corey.)
check to see if the ECT is working fine, check for corrosion, or if it just plain not working. when u change the thermostat you should bleed the system to get all the air pockets out, that will really effect the termostat. There should be a bleeder valve on the outside by the thermostat
