Also try wearing different shoes, my runing shoes with nylon on them always do this but when I wear just normal leather casual shoes it dosent happen

I take it you didnt take physics in school. Do you happen to have a link for this product?

So if people put those stupid jdm grounding straps on there, wouldnt it be better and probably cheaper and work just as good as buying a ground kit off ebay or somehwere?

Those magnets and ground straps don't work. Does this happen when getting out? Or while you are just sitting there? My first guess would be static electricity discharging through the ground in your window switch.

Have you tried the grounding straps yourself? I'm sure you haven't cuz they do work and kept the damn dust from sticking to my car.

They look kinda stupid but they work.

It only happens when I get outta my car and go to lock the doors, or in the morning when I put the key in the lockit'll zap me. In the dark you can actually see the spark and hear it sometimes. This is a lot stronger than a normal static electricity zap, this damn things got a bite to it, it even hurts sometimes like Im being electricuted slightly. Weird as it sounds.

well like other mentioned, be careful at gas pumps.

the human threshold for an ESD (electrostatic discharge) is around 3000 - 3,500 volts.
