K24 / 20 Dyno chart Dynojet 5thgenjon car
We finally (yea) have some numbers on 5thgenjon's k swap. And here we go.
First pic is his old engine (ITR) compared to the k24. Numbers for the itr engine are 177.9 whp with 126.9 torque. The k24/20 made 209.87 whp with 156.59 torque.
Second pic is the first run and the best run together. I believe there is another chart with a few more ponies on it...somewhere. Come Monday it will see some more dyno time. Before tune was around 190 whp with 145 torque. After of course was 209.87 whp with 156.59 torque.
Engine is pretty mild/stock. 11.1 pistons, custom header (thanks Ray) custom intake, aem ems, 2.5 in exhaust, lightened flywheel, cm clutch some other things Im just forgetting.
Heres some in the shop pics...right now the car is in the paint booth or there would be some more pics.
A little message for the v-8 guys. (yes we to are v-8 guys so dont get your panties in a bind.)
Comments are welcome and any tuning tips appreciated....sorry no fuel or ignition maps right now.

Good stuff...
Question.
Did you modify the RSX shifter box to fit under the stock center console? If so, may i ask how?

Re: (b00st)
Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah the torque is good but I could swear theres a chart with something like 168 torque.
I think 5thgenjon is pretty anxious to drive it, but like I said its in the paint booth right now. Were crossing our fingers to see 220 whp on Monday if all goes well.
Thanks to Will at hybrid, Brent at PFI and Ray from Rays Customs...oh yeah and Mark for like a weeks worth of work to the body and paint!
BTW DV you got i.m.ed

Oh yeah them were the days. Man I loved rolling into an autox event with my little 102 hp (@ the flywheel) dx and taking down some of those big mouth v-8 guys. Its still fun but not quite the same thing now.

Should have spoke up before we tossed 11.1's in there. So much more space when the engine isn't all angled forward.

Yea me to. Actually I think I'll be the first Dumb-*** v8 to get beat by him. Gonna race him against the Corvette. No not a z06.

rock on man. that is exactly what i want to do...just need to decide between a coupe or a hatch. then the big choice...turbo or all motor! let us know how it is on the streets when its running. get some vids of laying the power down on a v8!!!
