jdm zc intake mani vs usdm mani
i ordered from hmotors and i am curious on why i have to change the manifold is it for the emissions or with the motor not run right?? i am not worried about emissions just want the motor to run proper so if i put the jdm zc engine in without swapping intake manifolds will the engine not run properly i understand that i will probably have to switch the throttle bodies due to sensors but would i have to change the whole manifold to my y8 manifold or can i leave the jdm zc on .

The difference is the purge solenoid mount and the vacuum nipple for the purge solenoid. You can still use the jdm manifold and just make a bracket for the purge solenoid some were else or zip tie it out the way and just use a "T" tap from another vacuum source to supply it.
