Boost it. You can make decent power with a small turbo and a basic setup. ITB's suck, they are really only for track cars as ITB's only make power up top

There is a Forced Induction forum with FAQs you SHOULD be reading. Just sitting here asking questions and waiting for answers aint gonna cut it. Especially when you're talking about modding your engine for boost.
Being new really is not excuse for not reading up.

Just buy a used LS or GSR block and BAM build for turbo and youll have a decent setup.. or for less buy an h22 and a h2b kit since you already have the tranny setup then BOOM beat 7 pounds on a 14b or 16g or slow spooling *** ebay turbo

Stick with boost, with it's you'll have to run high octane gas and your tune will vary depending on air quality differences. For example my buddy with his 2.2 liter fully built b series. Got tuned up in my area. Norcal bay area and when we went down south his car was running all kinds of ****ed up. Thankfully one of our buddies is no stranger to tuning and did a quick street tune to get it running better. But im boosted and I love it! Traveled up and down California to thunderhill all the way down to l.a. with no problems. Except for finding e85 stations.....lol
