Interior Door Handle Lock Broken
Hi everyone! I'm Theo, new to the forum and had a question.
On my Del Sol, the interior door handle lock has been broken and literally stuck in the locked position, but the door itself would never lock.
I have bought a new interior door handle and put installed it, and now the locking mechanism will move from the unlocked to the locked position but the door will not lock.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Okay, here's what else I have discovered.
The lock actually works, I removed the door panel than reattached the new interior handle to see how everything worked, and the lock, which I guess is activated via some green rectangular .. item on the inside of the door panel works, but the long rod that goes from the handle to the lock doesn't move enough when the door handle is on properly to lock/unlock the door but I'm not sure why.
