The only issue I'm having is the top of the tip scuffs against the bottom of the bumper edge, and it does mar the finish. I need to have my exhaust redone from a two bolt flange and spring bolts to at least having a section of flex pipe where a cat should be.
Thanks, I think I'm going to try this. I've got a black car and I think that will look good with my bumper.

I haven't posted on HT in over a year, but this brought me back for sure. Such a classy build, Tom! I know where 90% of these pics were taken, so I hope to catch you around town. It's been quite a while since we last spoke at AHS, it would be great to catch up.

Is that a slip fit with a anchor bolt on the tip of the muffler?

It's a custom baffle that quiets the exhaust more. Good eye LOL!

Such a gorgeous overall hatch!!! With my idea of perfect fitment!!! Have there been any issues with the SC setup since you've had the car? I heard supercharger setups on the K Series aren't as reliable.

With a name like Stanceman I'm glad you approve. It actually took me longer to set the ******* ride height than it did to actually swap the coilovers into the car.

So as far as the supercharger set-up it's been 100% reliable. There's not a single time that I drive the car that I don't rev this bitch to 8600rpm. This engine has 155K on it and doesn't smoke EVER. Zero issues. Doesn't use any oil, etc. This is a roots style blower which from everything I've seen/read on supercharged Honda FB groups it's reliable. Kraftwerks kits and Rotrex-based kits are the ones that seem to have more failures associated with the shafts snapping, etc. Then again those usually crank out WAY more whp, but with a turbo-like power delivery I'd rather have a turbo.

Roots blowers only seem to have reliability issues on these K engines when you have a bigger blower like a TVS 2300 or even 1900, and you don't at the very least upgrade valve springs. Other than that the other associated issues with bigger roots blowers is that they make SO MUCH power and torque down low that they grenade the **** out of K trannies if you floor it in higher gears in lower rpm.

My kit is based off of a small M62 blower, so I get none of these issues. I do want to do the Merc Racing manifold as seen earlier in this thread, but that's not going to be out until mid summer. I want to do that to make a bit more power at less boost, and most importantly do so 100% safely as it will run much cooler too. I don't overheat, but I do get a temp rise at idle/stuck in traffic in GA summer heat (90+ degrees) with my A/C on. Turn the A/C off, and problem solved. An aftercooler would remedy this 100%.

The dudes at S3 magazine actually posted a few more pics of the hatch. They put up ten pics of the hatch with the next closest car having five pics. Pretty awesome how much they appreciate a 1992-1995 Civic when there was so much insane **** out there.

Tom, looked through the pics you've shared once more and I have a few questions:

1) Did you find some sneaky way to keep your windshield washers? I clearly don't see the reservoir or the lines to the hood, and I think I see that the hood holes up top are shaved.
2) Where did you get the black leather armrest? All of the OEM optional arm rests that came in black had a black velvet-felt type of material on the armrest (which mine does as well)
3) In one of the very first pictures of you bay you zoomed in to the firewall side and I can see the clutch master line bolted to the CMC. It looks like the line is being routed through some sort of grometted hole right under it. Any more detail about the routing that you can share or show?

Yes the nozzles are relocated into the hood cowling just as Honda did them in the DC Integra and many subsequent models. They work too. Hoses are routed inside left fender well and under cowling.

It's a DC Integra armrest. Likely an SE or GSR-L with Type D black interior. Fits perfectly. Not dyed.

Hole was drilled and has a grommet installed. Line runs totally hidden under left frame rail and peeks out right at slave, but remember it's a K so clutch slave is on driver's side and is easier to hide this way than B series on passenger side.

Sweet! The nozzles were installed so well into the OEM cowl. Do you know anything about the process? Was the OEM cowl just cut in a very precise manner?

Jason Brewer shared a bunch of old H-T meet pics with me. These are but a few. They offer insight into the kind of **** I built back in the day, and the high standards I looked for when I found this green hatch, and how I'll continue to upgrade it...

A few quick pics from my work parking lot this AM. Getting my K tuned shifter cables installed today, and possibly get some exhaust work done to better tuck the muffler if possible.

I've never driven a K-engine car. How's it compare to a B-series?

There isn't a comparison if we're talking motor-to motor, or even roots supercharged to roots supercharged. Of course turbo/high boost Bs can do more with less money. I'd say a more direct comparison to K would be H2B as I've personally witnessed stock head/block H23A blue tops with only Skunk cams/manifold make 250-260whp on e85. Bs get nowhere NEAR that without being fully built/less reliable.

BTW got new K Tuned Race cables installed last week as my OEM cables stretched. Shifter feels super crisp! Here's a quick pull video immediately after cable install:
