I was sore sore for about 2 weeks after my wreck. Lost my EJ1 in a head collision with a Jeep Cherokee got 0 money cause comprehensive doesn't cover locking brakes in the rain (bitches). I think it's f'in gay that insurance companies charge female drivers less for insurance than male drivers. They wreck far more than we do especially with the advent of the Cell phone. 90% of the wrecks outside school when I was still in high school were female drivers. This stupid girl here is a prime example of why the insurance rates are BS.
Don't be a dipshit like me. Go to a doctor. I eventually got better but it took for-frickin-ever to feel better though.
Sorry you lost your EM1. It's sad to see an Si go. Hope you find another you like. Again don't be like me and grab the first thing you see. I was trying to wait for something better but I said F it and got my hatch. Now I'm paying for by having a new clutch put in (I'm poor as hell so this is halting all my spending for a month on myself at least). I knew I shoulda gotten that 92 Lude Si and done an H22A head swap on it.

its hard to believe, i know...but insurance companies research and have statistics for EVERYTHING. they dont just base their rates off of what they think it should be...so im pretty sure even thought it may not seem like it, females wreck their cars less then males.

Dude buy your baby back from the insurance company or make them fix it you have both options and since they totaled it if you buy it back they arent alowwed to charge you more than 500 due to the car being incapable of daily driving and needed repairs dont send that sexy peice of machinery to a junk yard to rust buy it back fix it and you reallly wanna get a new car sell it for profit after fixing it or part it out i had a 2000 intrepid before my Ek and got into a head on collision with some GIRL (the irony) after she came around a blind turn on a back road and went into my lane they totaled it(had the same amount of damage if not mre than you) gave me a check for 10 grand and i bought it back for 350 from them i fixed it myself for about 700 and sold it for 5k very nice thing i made 13k off that damn thing sadly i miss it even though it was a domestic it was very comfortable being a sedan and i felt ALLOTTT safer in it than my hatch due to it being the same size length wise as a dodge caravan (no lie) but sucks to here bro let us know if you end up keeping it and fixing it up

Re: (Jhonny Ricer)
since insurance didn't give me **** for my Civic my brother and I decided to hang on to it instead of selling it to a junk yard. It ain't fixable (or at least no where near worth fixing) so we are trying to part it out. I'm trying to sell my doors an coil overs to one guy then the motor, trans, ecu, etc. to another guy. I'll sell whatever else I get off of it on ebay (seats, taillights, muffler, moonroof glass, trunk lid, gauge cluster, and pretty much anything not hurt in the wreck.) I'll make a good $1500 in parts off this thing to go towards fixing up my new pile.

Women tend to drive slower, IE they don't roll their cars or split them in half etc etc etc.
But then of course, we have Miss 911.

Oh...okay
It's not a comprehensive hit. For all intents and purposes comprehensive = accident where NOTHING else was involved.
It's basic insurance. Collision is when another car is involved and your fuckup. Comprehensive insurance should NOT cover your inability to drive a car w/o ABS. That's collision.
Girls wreck more than guys? As much as I enjoy the pictures with labels such as "yeah, it was a woman" and funny **** like that - go look at some stats. Men have A LOT more accidents than women, the highest risk group is males 16-21. Lots of DWI ****, lots of pple who think they're mean in their nasty rice burners, stock accords and civics the mean racing machines there.
I'm not trying to be an *******, call me one if you want, but that's just the way it is.
Statistics are the truth, that's why your insurance rates are higher.
And ramming another car because you panic and cross the lane is NOT a comprehensive accidents. Again I have to side with the insurance company. This isn't good b/c I rarely side w/ an insurance company but in your argument they get two 's from me.

yeah I know what comprehensive covers and I dropped it for my new car since it's about half worthless. In my area Female drivers are beginning to wreck more and my particular insurance company is considering turning the trend around. I should know, my dad works for them. About 90% of the female drivers I see today have a damn cell phone in their hand. I'm proud of my mom though. She don't do that. Only about 60% of the male drivers I see have a cell phone in their hands which is still way too damn much. I think it supposed to be illegal to use a cell phone in a vehicle in the state of Tennessee without a hands free device but it's not enforced. Still, frickin hang up and drive. Vast majority of wrecks out here involve a cellphone.
Mine was just bad luck on a bad curve. Many wrecks there before so there's oil and **** plus water from the rain. If my brain hadn't crapped out on me I woulda thought to let off my brakes and turn my wheel the other way to run my car into the ditch. That way the other fella (which was very nice and even stated it wasn't my fault nor his, wish I coulda met him in better circumstances) would still have his Cherokee and I might still have my coupe despite some damage. Hell the car has been run off the road 3 times before by a another driver. Of course my dumbass natural reaction was to push on the brakes harder while logic told me to let off.

Re: (rip94delsol)
frame rail was bent down thats why the car was totaled.
as for it now.
I bought it back, sold it to a guy, he tied the hood down, drove it 3 hours home and is in the process of bringing her back to life.
here are some pics.
by the way i kept the si's for my hatch

Re: (OuToFoCuZ)
It's still definitely fixable. The "frame rails" are all available from Honda. Unibody cars are all welded together to make up the "frame" so when someone says "well if the frame is bent, yadda yadda" it's really not entirely accurate. If the "frame is bent" you pull the bent portions and replace the sub-sections, check for alignment/factory specificiations and replace until back to OEM spec.
They of course total it due to cost - but if the job is done right it is the EXACT same as from the factory.
Here's an example of what I mean (turbojeff's stuff, who does great restorations of FDs that would have otherwise been written off as "totalled"):
