believe he wants to remove the climate control from his dash to check wiring and replace bulbs. i need to pull mine too because the cold/hot slider **** is broken off and im tired of having to use a metal pin to slide it back and forth! lol

yeah take out both dash panels and maybe your radio, so you can pull out the unit part way and then you will have to remove the plugs, there are to on the back and there is also a cable. The time i did it it was really a pain, the plugs were so hard to get out but maybe you'll have better luck

i don't know if thats the only way but i know you need to be able to get your hand to the very back of the unit where the plugs are, because you can pull it out a little but the harnesses and cable will only let you get it out about half way

The way I did was I took out the radio , center console , then theres like 3 screws that hold the climate control , Theres two plugs on the climate control and thats about it ..Two screws on the climate control is a bitch to get out , you have to have skinny hands lol...If you have anymore questions let me know..

Re: how to take out 92-95 civic climate control
Start by removing lower center console, glovebox, lower panel on drivers side.
6 bolts holding complete dash on. Open both doors, there is a small panel on each side, remove them and there is a bolt there. After removing glove box, there is a bolt on the lower right corner(as seen in pic) same goes for the drivers side but in lower left corner. Pop off the vent on top of the dash, bolt behind that. After removing the lower center console, the is a bolt near the carpet. Now pull the heater control cable off the heater box below the glovebox. Unplug any connectors(5 total)including pass side airbag there are 2 connectors behind the center console the others at the fuse box, remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts that hold the steering wheel up, let sit against seat. Now on the pass side air bag, there are 2 brackets that mount the bag to the frame under the dash, remove the nuts. Now you lift the dash up and out if you got all the bolts out. I will add more pics later.
The four connectors at the fuse box(one big harness)
These are where the 2 brackets bolt to the airbag

yeah im not sure why people are so hesitant to remove interior panels like dash etc. it is really very easy and makes your life much easier although some panels i try not to remove depending on how they lock in if it is plastic things like on the door panels they wear out pretty quick

Anyone have any ideas how these ***** are attached or how to unattach them
