$100 for a piece of painted plastic? May as well check your local junkyards and pick up some actual airbags.

I got the driver and passenger side with controller for 300 from a junkyard.. and labor? anybody that can handle a screwdriver and plug in two connections can do it.

Right now on ebay theres a driver/passenger/module buy it now for $295 with free shipping. (96-00 civic)

92-95 civic airbags no controller buy it now $100...

Regardless my whole point was that 100 for a piece of painted plastic seems high to me and id rather pay a little more and get actual airbags that could save my life..

I'll sell my complete, never deployed airbag system. It's from a 93 DX, so it's driver side only. I got the steering wheel, ECU, the two firewall sensors, and all of the wiring harness plugs. shaundrake@metacrawler.com

Why do people keep calling the airbag trays "JDM"?

If they were JDM, they wouldn't fit, because they'd be made for a RHD dashboard.

The airbag trays are all of Canadian origin.

Cause there are too many goddamned young kids who don't know a damn thing about cars other than how to jump on a bandwagon on this site.

So true, most of the time it's really not worth it. I could live without airbags in my car.

But you can't pass inspection without them.

I have seen a few RHD ITR's here and none of them have airbags at all.. the dash looks all weird on the passenger side.

Almost the same as ours.... Japanese ones only read up to 180 KM/h, Canadian spec read to 220,240, 0r 260 depending on what model of car its came from (ITR, Civic, GSR), but yes, its very close to what we have
