How to adjust door to body tightness? 2000 EJ8
Is there a way first off on a 2000 EX 2dr?
I searched and i some say you can adjust the door locks...but i took door panel off and loosened the door lock bolts and i couldnt get it too move...looks like the screws only go one spot in a lil dimple on door
Im getting a lil leak from top of door and it collects n drips down til it hits the tweeter on door panel and than drips down..not much but enough too annoy me after a hard rain
Carpet doesnt get wet so it isnt a huge issue at the moment.
But i bought a new door weather stripping from Honda....see if that helps...but it seems like when i unlock my doors and just barely touch handle itll open without much resistance.
Weird too explain, but it feels like it opens just soooo easy and not like passenger door seems like it has too unhook from door latch.
So is there any way too make the door lock or make it latch tighter?
Thanks

I usually follow the lines of the car, check both sides to make sure the clearance is exact. Same goes for fenders, hood and trunk. Yeah I get **** with it.

adjustment of the back of the door is done at the striker, not the door itself.
if the bottom of the door is aligned with the body, you might have to physically tweak the top of the door.

So you can adjust the striker, the latch door catches to close on the body?
I'll look at that too
