Hmmm odd thing happend today..
I was on the road for about an hour. Then i arrived to my friends house, turned off my car. About 10 min later i went back in my car and tried to start it and it would not start. When i would turn the key it would make a click click click sound and engine would not even attempt to turn, as if the battery was dead. That was that 1st thing i assumed..Then i popped the hood and two min. later with the key half way turned so it would give a power. Then i turned off my cd played completly and i tried to start it again, and it started like everything was ok. So im kind of confused for the messed up explanation, if you have any ideas in what could be wrong..tell me thanks.

I would check your battery terminals and clean them with a wire brush and then pour some water and baking soda (mixed 5:1) on it. then let that dry and reattach your terminals.
I would then look around for any loose ground wires and make sure all ground connections in the engine bay are tightened. If the problem persists the next time it happens when starting the car wiggle the key/ignition.

It sounds like your main relay is going bad. when they heat up the solder will "melt" and loose contact. Then you let it sit for a while and it will cool and will start again. Remove your main relay and check for cracks in the solder.

Bad ground, check ground wires for both alternator and starter, and make sure none of the metal is in contact with any other surface aside from it's rubber housing. Cleaning the battery terminals couldn't hurt either.

I agree. A clicking when trying to start is the starter going bad. Check the starter and the soliniod. The clicking is the starter soliniod moving.

im sure its not the starter..I know that sounds like. This is more of just a clicking sound with nothing going to the engine. Im pretty sure its electrical.

Yeah, sounds like the starter soliniod is going bad or has a bad connection. Check the power and ground cables on the starter. Take a voltmeter and test the soliniod too, while your in there .

I third this opinion.. clicking noise = bad starter or not enough power going to the starter.. were the lights dimming as you cranked? if not, probably bad starter.

if i remember right the lights did dim. To actually start the car again i had to completely turn off my aftermarket eclipse head unit, wait a few sec. then turn on.

it is def. your main relay going bad, the exact same thing happened to me. it also happened when it started getting hot out and the inside of your car would heat up to like 100 degrees. start shopping for a main relay!
