help oil leak changed oil pan gasket, rear main and clutch
I just changed my clutch, rear main seal and oil pan gasket. Days later i seen oil leaking only rear of the oil pan gasket. All around I cleaned it good and For a couple of days i still see leak all around the rear area of the oil pan. In the morning my dad saw the oil leak seeping all on the garage floor. To the right side tire . I saw it starts near the oil filter small drip . I made sure the oil filter is super tight looks like the block oil filter housing. Idk how to take it off. Also i saw oil all on my front lower strut bar near the drain plug.the driveway is kind of slope.
Also days before i saw oil leak when i took off my distributor and some blue color.
I am most worried if the rear main seal is leaking
i looked at the flywheel cover and the outside cover seems dry to touch. The top rear end of the gasket facing the engine gasket looks kinda dry but the nuts where the flywheel cover is oil wet. Also the flywheel looks dry. The inner flywheel cover feels kinda wet. But also the whole rear oil pan gasket.
Im very worried about if its the rear main seal bc i just changed my clutch i dont want to go back.
Im worried and kinda in doubt. Do you think my rear main seal leaking. Pls help me.
How bad oil leak if its the rear main seal. Signs.
Idk.

They sell a dye that you can add to your oil. First wipe everything down as best as you can. Then add the dye you will need a blacklight to see the dye. Let the car run and the. Use the blacklight to look for the dye under your car. You will see a green residue where the oil is leaking. Any parts store sells it

Common problem -- Your oil filter may have two rubber gaskets, the new one and the one from the old replaced oil filter.
