HELP!!!! Hood Latch / Cable Problem
i have a problem, i replaced my hood latch and cable for my 95 honda civic dx 2dr. However, the cable seems to be working fine (the old one didn't seemed to grab good) but the hood latch doesn't want to close the hood, like it doesn't lock it as it should to be released by the hood cable. Is there anything that i should of done to the hood latch or cable when installing them ? why could this be happening ?
Note: The hood closes to a point that you could open it with the switch that you have to pull up under the hood but it doesn't completely closes as it should.

i had to replace a latch too, and mine "new" still doesn't work at 100% Before closing the hood I have to manually pull a metal piece over in order for the 2-stage locking piece work right. Spray it all down good, examine how the thing actually operates, and then see which piece isn't moving or broken.
