my dad has got a bunch of tickets for various things and he just challenges them and the cop has showed up once in 8 years of doing this.

I got a citation on Saturday for 63 in a 40 on my way to NOPI, wasn't paying attention. All I'll have to do is pay the ticket, and pay for a class then it will be dropped from my record.

You do deserve it though.

i got a ticket for 87 in a 55 that im going to court for on the 6th of August, what am I looking at?. Im pretty much going to tell the judge that me and my pregnant girlfriend had been traveling 2 hours and she started complaining of feeling a little sick so i became nervous and was kind of in a hurry to get her to the hotel over looking my speed and the speed limit.

You guys are gonna give me the flames for this but i think i beat you all i got 13 tickets within 6 months of having my DL. My license is suspended untill next year in may only about 7 of those tickets where moving violations the others where for stupid stuff like tints, car being to low, i had smoked tails and i got a violation for that ..and what really sucks is most of my tickets where for going like 10 over the limit on the HwY only one was a bad one i was going 102mph ..anyways the best thing i can tell you to do is get a lwayer for like 40-80 bucks they will fight it no points and no insurance cost you will have to pay the fine though..

in georgia, the cop has to ask you if you want to check the calibration, if they do not, then it is a bad stop and you are not responsible for the ticket, no ****, people get off on this every day.

If cops didn't enforce the speed limit do you know how many accidents there would be from people speeding down the highway??? So indirectly the police are saving guilty and innocent lives by enforcing the speed limit. There would be so many wrecks and pile-ups and what not, even deaths. Ever think about it that way? Probably not.

So don't get all pissy when cops are sitting waiting to catch people speeding. They are doing it for a reason.

oh yeah good job...make the kid look like an idiot.... remind you this is a state Trooper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im sure he'll be dumbfounded..all he has to say is yes it was calibrated (once per month) and which also brings up the point ,all he has to say is it was a visual too. meaning he estimated your speed. (they are trained for that too )

believe me ive been to court many many times. i know how it works. the cop is ALWAYS favored no matter what......best bet is to pay the ticket.... and get the points... face it , you f'ed up. now be a man and learn your lesson. btw i got 10 points here in NYC.. 1 more point and im done.
