i pull 9.79 in my bolt on single cam full int eg sedan. Your car should be walking them but you have a list of problems. Do compression/leak down test and just trouble shoot man. You should be able to get her up and running smoothly!

that and maybe take this as a lesson, not to goto shops.. they don't care about your car, most of them are just fanboys that only know brand names. learn everything yourself.

wow man your car is in deep ****,go to luserkid, ive seen his posts and def knows what he is doing.

OBD1 ecu is a good thing however it should of been OBD2 since its from 97.He probably has a bad chip,a stock ecu should be better.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Well, your bad 02 sensor could be dumping fuel (running rich)...that's hurting you...spark plug/spark plug wires/distributor may fix the misfire...that's hurting you, but I'm not 100% on the crankshaft speed sensor.

My GSR'd hatchback runs a 9.9 1/8th mile at 71mph...which translates to a 15.40 1/4 mile with a SHITTY 2.4 60' time.

I'd get all your check engine codes taken care of with a KNOWN good ecu...then run it again.

That's what I was thinking too....

It's dumbasses like you that make Honda-Tech look bad, congratulations.

So, let me break this down for you big guy.

I'm running a 15.40 while most GSR'd hatchbacks run what...14.80s? I'm running a shitty 2.4 60'(which I'll explain later) and a good 60' is a 1.8. Now, let's do some subtraction, can you keep up with that? 2.4 minus 1.8 equals .6.....oh my dear God, that's the difference between my 15.40 and the usual 14.80...what a coincedence!

Now, why am I running such a bad 60'?

The day after I got back from the track, I brought my car to my dad's shop, put it on the lift and was rotating tires which I noticed my passenger side front tire had a lot of slack. Well, what do you know...a worn out tie-rod end. Call me crazy, but that would cause me to have a lot of torque steer and loss of traction from a dead stop, RIGHT? The next day I was leaving the ATM and I heard a kind of slow hiss when I my driver side front wheel left the incline, sounds to me like a bad strut.

Did I break it down enough for you? Because I don't think that I can put it much simpler.

So, the next time your fingers start moving across the keyboard and retarded comments start showing up on your computer monitor, think about this thread.

Yes, I can break a 15.8.

It's a $3,300 hatchback...with a GSR swap that I got for $800 (plus forged internals with a compression drop for boost later, AEM short-ram, generic E/H, Exedy clutch, and Fidanza lightweight flywheel).

No, my car isn't built like ****...the GSR looks like it came from the factory in the car. And yes, my car CAN run a 14...once it gets traction this summer.

And honestly, I think you should be the one giving up the scene...why? Because you think you're hot **** and you're really making yourself look like a dumbass ("bwahahaha"...do I really need to say more?).

By the way, I would LOVE to see your car and a timeslip
