Any codes? What was your 60ft? Might be your driving. Also I think those other hatches had more then a stock single cam.

the other hatchs you raced were probably spraying! you should get some 4 into 1 headers 2 and 3/4 pipe, and is your ecu chipped?

and now i get literally 8-10 mpg.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thats probably your problem..

what are you talking about?

to the OP, if your trans is that bad, think about how the guy was driving the car. The engine is probably pretty beat up. I'd do some compression/leakdown numbers on it. Put in a stock ECU. The guy probably sold you some wack program. You should, by no means get beat up on by a D-series. Unless they're super modded. I'm not only saying that because i dispise D series motors...but..thats some of the reason. Anyway, it's probably running WAYYYY to freaking rich with the ecu program. Plus if your 02 sensor is throwing a code, then ....that would kinda explain your 8-10mpg (coupled with the ecu you have). Your misfire sensor code is another bad thing to have. Is the misfire sensor not plugged in or is it broken? IS THE CAR MISFIRING? lol stupid question, but still.

OORRRR you just cant drive

i dont here it misfire it runs good and feels strong.
the shop told me i only needed one o2 sensor then i went back and now he says i need 2.
but i dont have another bung or harness to put it in.
i already replaced the o2 sensor.

um another thing when i am at a coast like driving down a hill and letting it roll about 40
my car rpms dont drop.
they drop when i put it in nuetral. then shoot back up to about 1.5 to 2k rpms then when i stop it goes down to 6-700 rpm
is that the tps sensor.

This is what i was thinking, its probably something he got off ebay.. I dont really trust what your saying is a "chipped ecu".

Is VTEC even engaging with those CEL codes on? Especially the misfire one, I doubt it's engaging.

I say you take "Luserkid" up on his offer to let e fellow HT member help you out. Could be something as small as a losse ignition wire, could be serious. I definetely wouldn't be out racing and driving it hard with codes though.

Good luck..

This could be an issue too. Do a compression test, that's an easy way to check for possibly damage. If you don't have a gauge you can rent one from AutoZone.

-His motors all ran like **** or he lied.

-The 02 sensor has nothing to do with VTEC. It does, however have something to do with partial throttle cruise and GAS MILEAGE.

-Yes he did.

-Yeah...that kinda sucks.

-OBD1 ECU does not look for misfire sensor. So...

-axles &lt;~~~is spelled like that. Also have nothing to do with speed...but the overall crappy condition of the swap.

-He probably stole it.

Sorry you got screwed. How much did you pay?

It's safe to say that someone is jacking you around here. Either the guy who sold you the swap, the shop you're going to, or possibly both of them. I saw go pay "Luserkid" a visit. I don't know him personally but I've seen his posts and he seams to know what's up..

I hate to see people getting taken advantage of.
