Default Hasport axles or Raxles?

Hasport: $269 + Ca Tax= $26.23 with a total of $295.33 and no core with Free Shipping

http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...2&idcategory=0

Raxles: $259.90 + Shipping= $59.85 with a total of $319.75 and core must be returned

http://www.raxles.com/axleparts.aspx

I was wondering which route would you guys prefer? I heard good things about raxles but the fact that I have to give up my old axles to them as well and pay the outrageous shipping?

Also Hasport can support much more horsepower than the standard Raxles could and is cheaper. But what would you guys prefer?

If you chose other then please explain why? and what brand?

*I have a 97 Civic hatch with an h2b setup or h22a motor with a B series transmission.

Sounds like a winner here.

oem replacement axles with a lifetime warranty. no matter how much hasport/raxle/dss say the axle will support, once it snaps/wobbles you will need to buy another. any major power adders that would cause a need for aftermarket axles?

any local auto parts store. i got a set from autozone in february and have replaced the passenger side already (but only because my ball joint broke, and i had the warranty, they had the axle in stock, didnt wanna chance it). as long as i own a b-series car, i will not need axles.

OH nvm.. I thought you were talking about lifetime replacement OEM axles not autozone ones..

Btw this is the 12 time I had to go and replace my axle from autozone. Piece of **** axles in my opinion. Out of every 5 you get at least 1 decent one. Then after 3 months it goes bad. I am trying to decide whether to get Hasport or Raxles because of my experiences with an auto store and their products which is just awful. But for some people like yourself, you get very lucky.

i think it's less that he's lucky and more that you're unlucky. 9 times out of 10 for most people auto part store axles work perfectly fine.

i think luck plays a very small role in getting good axles, heck there are two local shops with cars pushing over well over 500hp to the wheels running autozone axles with no problems.

my opinion, axles are cheaper and easier to replace over tansmissions. i would just go oem.
