h2b in ek under 12v when car is on + shocked by plug wires
just installed an h2b in an ek for someone... car needed to have the alternator relocated, so he got the innovative relocation bracket. he got it and put it on without me there and supposedly had to pull the alternator plugs down a bit. seems unlikely, but im wondering if thats the problem... im stumped, but heres what else is going on.
the car will turn over fine.
when its off it reads 12.1 volts at the battery.
when its on it read 11.8 and under.
under load it goes down one point from where it is
battery relocated to the trunk.
tried 3 batteries, they all do the same thing.
all grounds have been checked and rechecked and repositioned still same thing.
car has a new alternator.
rywire harness
only thing i lengthened were the wires to the speed sensor.
also used b series starter
at one point the car wouldnt crank and when it did fire up a couple times thetach wasnt working making me think the dizzy is bad...
car also has a voltage stabilizer on it that isnt doing anything.
when stabilizer is unhooked still gives the same readings.
same voltage stabilizer on my car bumps the voltage up to 14.7 volts.
jumped his car with my car minus the alternator and battery and got 14.7 volts at the terminals.
also, while i was away, he was pressing the end of his plug wires back on the distributor and tells me he got badly electrocuted.
i did his h22 swap before this h2b setup and everything was perfect...cant figure out what the issue is... any ideas would be appreciated.

battery relocated to the trunk.

start there and do a voltage drop and make super sure the grounds are good.
you do have the alternator B+ goin back to the battery dont you? if not it will drop below 12v while running if the alternator isnt picking up the tab.
