Gauge cluster is in kilometers, will this affect smog?
So I purchased an aftermarket gauge cluster for my 93 EG hatch that reads in kilometers instead of miles. Anyhow, it's time to smog the car and I was wondering if there would be any problems with me using the kilometers stated on the cluster? The person smogging the car is a good friend of mine so I know it will pass, but I'm just concerned if the DMV will have a problem with it. I mis-placed my stock cluster so I have no idea what the old mileage was the last time I smogged the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well as far as passing the inspection for the mileage etc., I know the smog guy will pass me because he is a friend of mine. I'm just wondering if the DMV will have a problem if the mileage is not consistent with the mileage the last time I smogged the car.

its nice that i dont have to deal with emissions in minnesota or the dakotas. LOL. In mn they dont need to know the milage depending in the age of the vehicle. i think its 10 years here.
