Default Gauge cluster bulb change to color.

I want to change my bulbs to shine blue. What kind of bulbs do I need? LED or bulb? Explain please.

I used Blue SMD t10 and t5 bulbs. the t10 bulbs fit in the t5 sockets if you shave the sides down a millimeter or 2

Well I read about someone saying to not use LED because it creates hotspots? what is that? and have yall used the LEDs?

hot spots are basically when one area is brighter than another area. when i used superbrightleds.com led bulbs i didnt have hot spots.

I can't believe people still have to post on this subject.
And if you read about hotspots I'll bet dollars to donuts that they also mentioned where they got their LEDs/bulbs and exactly what they used.
