sorry about the noob question ...

i need a new ball joint ...
when my car is lifted, i can move my front wheels, apparantly from warn ball joints
but i dont know if its for the upper or lower front control arm ..
i have skunk2 upper arms right now, and they are pretty warn.
i dont konw the status of my lca. in fact, i dont even know where they are on my car

thing is, i cant find any front lower control arms anywhere
and the shop is asking 130 to replace just the ball joint, each side (they didnt specify which ones were bad)
id rather spend the 260 getting new control arms and installing it myself.
is that plausable?

so i guess my questions are.. judging from my symptoms, is it a problem w/ the upper or lower ball joint ?
and if it is the lower ball joint, could i replace the entire lca on my own, or is it a difficult procedure ?
and lastly, i cant seem to find any lca for 2000 civics, where would i go about looking for them ?

take the tires off and move the hub back and forth...
I may be wheel bearings also...
